Miami Dade Wolfson’s Campus to Offer Tax Practitioner Seminar Dec. 14

Miami, FL, Nov. 21, 2019Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Miguel B. Fernández Family School of Global Business, Trade and Transportation in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will offer an all-day Tax Practitioner Seminar for accounting and tax professionals on Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Wolfson Campus, in downtown Miami.

The seminar meets the requirement of eight CPE credit hours in the Technical Business category, approved by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), as well as eight CPE credit hours in taxation for enrolled agents. Attendees must remain at the seminar all day to receive credit.

8 – 9 a.m. New Tax Law & Tax Reform Basics for Qualified Business Income Deductions (Section 199A) presented by Maritza Rabinowitz

9 – 10 a.m. Exam Appeals presented by Luis Arritola

10 – 11 a.m. Taxpayer Advocate Service Updates presented by Theresa Lucotti-Bildik

11 -12 p.m. Updates and Highlight SB/SE Field Exam presented by Herb Rodríguez

1 – 2 p.m. Collection Appeals presented by Rhonda Warren

2 – 3 p.m. Identity Theft Presentation for Tax Professionals presented by Maritza Rabinowitz

3 – 4 p.m. Collection Updates/SBSE Collection presented by Rosita Canales

4 – 5 p.m. Criminal Investigation Update presented by William Rondón
