Miami, March 4, 2018 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus will host a Mega Job Fair for students on Tuesday, March 5, 5 – 8 p.m., and Wednesday, March 6, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The Mega Job Fair provides employers and MDC students a chance to network and discuss job and internship opportunities from a range of industries, including banking, education, hospitality, law enforcement, retail, human services, and others. More than 100 renowned local and national companies from across Miami-Dade County will be represented at the job fair, including Home Depot, Health Systems Solutions, Publix Super Markets, The Biltmore Hotel, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Topgolf – Miami Gardens, The Office of Veteran Affairs, Univision, Hollywood Police Department, Leon Medical Centers, and many more.
Recruiters will be seeking employees for a wide range of open positions including entry level. Everyone attending the job fair is encouraged to dress in professional business attire and bring current résumés. Last year, more than 2,000 students and community guests as well as more than 100 companies participated in the event.
To refresh or expand skills, MDC offers College Credit Certificates and Career Technical Certificate programs that focus on preparation for immediate job entry as well as a range of degree pathways that prepare students to enter the modern workforce or pursue higher educational goals.
