Miami Dade College’s North Campus to Host D3 Art + Design Conference & Expo

Miami, March 18, 2019 — Get ready to be immersed once again into the world of art, design and technology at the fifth annual D3 Art + Design Conference & Expo, April 2 – 4, presented by Miami Dade College’s (MDC) School of Entertainment Design & Technology (SEDT), in collaboration with the School of Science STEM ISLE grant.  All events are free and open to the public.

This year, the D3 Art + Design conference events are interdisciplinary and will focus on educational advancement, professional growth, and experiential learning. D3 brings together a diverse community of independent thinkers who work on projects rooted in the emergent creative industries. The event will feature keynote speakers from DreamWorks Animation, Perception NYC and Limbitless Solutions. They will offer interactive presentations, lectures, and professional workshops in narrative storytelling, special effects, and 3D printing.

“Our D3 Expo presents an incredible opportunity for our students and the broader community.  Our primary aim with the conference is to connect creative thinkers with digital artists toward advancing the emerging innovative fields in art and design”, said Dr. Malou C. Harrison, President of North and InterAmerican Campuses.
