Miami, Oct. 16, 2018 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North and Kendall Campuses will open to students, employees and the community for convenient early voting from Monday Oct. 22 through Sunday, Nov. 4.
MDC’s President Dr. Eduardo J. Padrón will vote with students and has invited Miami-Dade County Commissioners to join them on Monday, Oct. 22, at noon, at North Campus (11380 NW 27th Ave.), the first day of early voting. Student groups will also rally and vote at the Kendall Campus on Monday.
Students across the college are also encouraging fellow students and the community to Vote Yes on Amendment 7, to add our national model Florida College System to the State Constitution alongside the State University and K-12 Systems.
MDC early voting sites will be open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
