The job fair will provide employers, MDC students and the community with a chance to network and discuss job and internship opportunities from a wide range of industries. Recruiters from local companies across Miami-Dade County are seeking employees for many available entry-level positions. Some of the participating employers include Florida Blue, Walgreens, U.S Census Bureau, We Think Globally Inter-Cruises, and Shoreside Port Services. Liberty City, where the Meek Center is located, is a critical component to Miami’s economic development.  Participants are encouraged to bring current resumes.

“Through the Meek Center, our students are exposed to academic and professional development training aligned to local industry needs. We are pleased to offer this job fair opportunity for students and neighbors to match their education, training and skills with quality employment opportunities,” said Dr. Malou C. Harrison, President of North and Padrón Campuses.
