Miami, Oct. 15, 2018 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) InterAmerican Campus and the School of Education will host the second annual Love, Grow, Learn Conference, Friday, Oct. 26, at 8 a.m. The conference will feature area experts who conduct research on social-emotional learning, the process by which humans learn how to understand and manage emotions in order to have healthy relationships and productive lives. Working media is welcome.
This annual conference provides a forum for researchers and practitioners to engage in professional conversations and exchange ideas on current research that influences the field of education. Topics addressed at the conference vary annually and are aligned with the pillars of the teacher education programs at MDC’s School of Education, such as educational neuroscience, socio-emotional learning, and dual language education.
