Miami, March 21, 2019 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Homestead Campus will host its annual job fair for students and the community, Wednesday, April 3, at 11:30 a.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The Job Fair provides employers, MDC students and the community a chance to network and discuss job and internship opportunities from a range of industries that include banking, healthcare, hospitality, law, human resources, security, travel, government and others. Nearly 50 renowned local and national companies from across Miami-Dade County will be present at the fair, including Amazon, Advantis Home Care, Inc, Hilton Hotels, Starbucks, City of Miami, Florida Army National Guard, Florida Department of Corrections, Estrella Insurance, Miccosukee Resort and Gaming, and many more.
Recruiters are seeking employees for a wide range of open positions including entry level. Everyone attending the job fair is encouraged to dress in professional business attire and bring current résumés.
To refresh or expand skills, MDC offers College Credit Certificates and Career Technical Certificate programs that focus on preparation for immediate job entry as well as a range of degree pathways that prepare students to enter the modern workforce or pursue higher educational goals.
