Miami, April 13, 2022 – Miami Dade College (MDC) will once again host the Venture Miami Tech Hiring Fair on Thursday, April 14, from 4-7 p.m. with over 70 companies that are looking for local talent to fill tech and non-tech roles. The fair is free and open to the public.

A ribbon cutting ceremony for the now famous, Miami Bull will take place during the Tech Hiring Fair to welcome the monument to its new home at the Wolfson Campus. The Miami Bull was commissioned by Miami-born fintech firm TradeStation, and presented in Miami to celebrate its culture of innovation as it further stakes its claim as the world’s new epicenter of crypto and fintech. The Miami Bull seeks to both honor Miami and champion the latest fintech technologies that have emerged around the world, including the emergence of blockchain, cryptocurrency and decentralized finance. The ceremony will include remarks from Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, MDC President Madeline Pumariega, UM Provost Jeffery Duerk, and FIU Interim President Kenneth A. Jessell.
