Miami Dade College to Support Relief Efforts for those Impacted by Hurricane Dorian

Miami, Sept. 3, 2019Miami Dade College (MDC) is supporting several relief efforts for those impacted by Hurricane Dorian.

MDC is providing assistance and support to Bahamian students currently enrolled at the college. In addition, MDC will assist college students from the Bahamas displaced by the storm. For more information about assistance to students from Bahamas, please contact MDC’s Information Center at 305-237-8888.

MDC is working with the United Way and its #OperationHelpingHands. We encourage members of the Miami Dade College community wishing to make monetary contributions to our neighbors in the Bahamas to visit: www.UnitedWayMiami.org/OHH. Local officials say this is the preferred method of support.
