Miami Dade College to Offer Tax Practitioner Seminar Dec. 12

Miami, Dec. 2, 2022 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Miguel B. Fernández Family School of Global Business, Trade and Transportation, in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), will offer an all-day Tax Practitioner Seminar for accounting and tax professionals on Monday, Dec. 12, at MDC Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. 2nd Ave., Room 7128 (Building 7, first floor).

“This year, we are reactivating our popular Tax Practitioner Seminar to serve the tax professional community,” said Ana Cruz, School of Global Business, Trade and Transportation chair. “The in-person presentations will cover updated, relevant IRS tax material beneficial to all practitioners.”

This seminar meets the requirement of eight CPE credit hours in the Technical Business category, approved by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), as well as eight CPE credit hours in taxation for enrolled agents. Attendees must remain at the seminar all day to receive credit.

4 – 5 p.m.                     Offer and Compromise: presented by Marcia North
