Miami, Oct. 7, 2021 – The acclaimed School of Continuing Education and Professional Development at Miami Dade College (MDC) has partnered with Career Source of South Florida and the Related Urban Development Group to offer a Property Management Certificate program for residents of Liberty Square and Lincoln Gardens. Participants can obtain licensing and employment in the field of property management. Classes being this month and will have open enrollment opportunities year-round.
“We are proud to serve as the higher education partner with Related Urban Development and Career Source South Florida in this novel training program onsite at Liberty Square and Lincoln Gardens,” said Dr. Malou C. Harrison, MDC Executive Vice President and Provost. “Upskilling these highly motivated individuals for in-demand careers in property management will contribute to catalyzing social mobility and economic development.”
The Property Management Certificate program is designed to build students understanding of property management including principles of professional property management, presentation skills, marketing and leasing, sales and customer service, negotiations and conflict management, management and finance, and human resources. The program concludes with the Community Association Manager (CAM) License Exam preparation and exam. Successful program graduates will be ready for jobs in the property management industry.
