Miami Dade College to Offer Free Financial Literacy Workshops at North and Wolfson Campuses

Miami, Feb. 24, 2016 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) School of Business at the North and Wolfson Campuses, in collaboration with the  Center for Financial Training Southeastern and Wells Fargo Bank, will offer financial literacy workshops for students and the community from Feb. 22 through April 7. The workshops are free.

The workshops will focus on building good credit, budgeting and identity theft. The goals are to equip individuals with the information necessary to make sound financial decisions, especially when paying for college or debts and to raise financial literacy awareness. MDC students will use financial literacy training modules from Wells Fargo – Hands on Banking.
