Miami Dade College to Illuminate Freedom Tower Blue and Orange for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation

Miami, April 26, 2016 – Miami Dade College (MDC) will illuminate its Historic Landmark Freedom Tower blue and orange at sunset Friday, May 6, in support of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America’s (CCFA) “Take Steps Walk,” which will take place Saturday, May 7, at Bayfront Park.

The CCFA is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis. It was founded in 1967 by Irwin M. and Suzanne Rosenthal, William D. and Shelby Modell, and Henry D. Janowitz, M.D.

Its annual Take Steps Walk is one of CCFA’s largest events, which offers a day for family, friends and the community to come together in celebration of the organization’s hard work and dedication to its mission. For more information, please visit www.ccfa.org.
