Miami, April 13, 2017 – Miami Dade College (MDC) will host its 14th annual Architectural & Interior Design Showcase on Thursday, April 20 and Friday, April 21. The event will feature architectural models, free-hand renderings, digital and mechanical drawings, and an impressive collection of video animations produced by MDC architectural students. The event is free and open to the public.
MDC’s architecture program has received praise for producing top, award-winning students. The beloved and impressive annual event will include a collection of student projects carefully chosen from the College’s best. Works from all levels of architecture and interior design, alongside projects from computer-assisted workshops and graphic communication courses will be on display. The event also provides a wonderful opportunity to engage professionals and the future generations of architects in a dynamic networking event.
MDC students are fostered by a learning atmosphere connecting them to architects and builders of the past as well as to the latest trends present in today’s kinetic world. This end-of-the-year show offers students the opportunity to share their designs and creations with the rest of the Miami-Dade community.
Students from Hialeah Gardens Senior High School, South Miami Senior High School and Coral Park Senior High School will also attend the architectural showcase.
