Miami Dade College North Campus to Host Supply Chain Symposium

Miami, March 11, 2016- The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) South Florida Roundtable will host the Second Annual Young Supply Chain Management Professionals’ Symposium at 8 a.m., Thursday, March 17 at the Miami Dade College (MDC) North Campus.

“The goal of CSCMP is to provide educational, career development, and networking opportunities to members as well as to the entire Supply Chain Management profession.  The South Florida Roundtable Board has put together a great program with local leaders in this industry that will benefit students and young professionals in development of a career in the supply chain industry,” said Mary Rousseau, President of the CSCMP South Florida Roundtable.

High school and college students from Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties interested in a career in supply chain management, young professionals currently in the industry, and an impressive line-up of industry executives will gather for a morning filled with relevant workshops.   Immediately following the program, participants are able to network and learn more about opportunities with local supply chain management companies at an Expo.

“I am proud of CSCMP’s work to expose students to the supply chain industry and pleased to host the symposium this year at MDC’s North Campus,” said Dr. Malou Harrison, MDC’s North Campus President.
