Miami Dade College North Campus’ Actors Arena Presents Tartufo

Miami, July 5, 2016Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus’ Actors Arena will present Tartufo, one of the most famous theatrical comedies by Molière.  Directed by Max Ferrá, this comedic play will be presented for three consecutive weekends beginning July 8.  The event is free and open to the public.

Tartufo, or the Impostor, presents the story of a pious fraud who seeks to keep all the property of a wealthy landowner named Orgon. Tartufo pretends to be of religious virtue and tries to marry the daughter of his benefactor while at the same time trying to seduce his wife.

This Spanish-language play will take place at the North Campus, building 5000, William & Joan Lehman Theatre, 11380 NW 27 Ave.

The performance schedule is as follows:

Fridays at 8:30 p.m. – July 8, 15 and 22

Saturdays at 8:30 p.m.  – July 9, 16, and 23

Sundays at 5 p.m.  – July 10, 17 and 24
