Miami, March 23, 2016 – Miami Dade College (MDC) InterAmerican Campus’ School of Business and School of Education will host the first annual Executive Pass Shark Tank on Tuesday, March 29.
The Executive Pass Shark Tank consists of a Business Plan competition in which Business students at Miami Senior High will compete against Education students from Miami Coral Park Senior High for the best business plan. All six business plans created by the high school seniors are proposed entrepreneurial endeavors related to education.
The judges are a Speech faculty member, a director from MDC’s School of Education, and two representatives from Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses. MDC students from an Introductory Speech course will also serve as judges selecting the “People’s Choice.” The members of the winning team of the best business plan overall will receive $500 each for tuition to use at MDC, and the best presentation winners will return to their school with a trophy.
