MDC AMA Projects, Meetings and Events for the 2019-20 academic school year:

3:05 “Cafecito” Marketing Chats
These monthly segments held on the second Thursday of the month will offer students the opportunity to engage in meaningful intimate conversations with accomplished professionals from the South Florida community. The event will be organized by AMA members and open to the MDC community at large. The first one will take place on Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Idea Center’s Creative Gym, featuring JennyLee Molina, MDC Hall of Famer, founder of JLPR and creator of the 3:05 Cafecito, a nationally recognized social media campaign that proclaimed Miami’s area code as the official time for a coffee break in the Magic City. This first marketing chat will focus on the power of social media and how to leverage Miami’s flavor in local campaigns. October’s “Cafecito” Marketing Chat” will also feature marketing professionals responsible for signature events, such as the Cirque Du Soleil, the Renaissance Fair, and the Youth Fair. Future chats will feature experts in sports marketing, hospitality industry, media, and real estate.
