MIAMI, Oct. 12, 2016 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) iconic Tower Theater will once again offer its popular World Stages Series featuring recordings of classical opera, ballet, and other legendary performances in high definition on the big screen. Some of productions will be presented live on the same day they are shown at their respective countries. The season kicks off Monday, Oct. 17, with Saint-Saëns’ opera Samson et Dalila at the Opéra national de Paris with the sensational soprano Anita Rachvelishvili in the leading role.
Tickets:
The Emerald Pass – $90 (10 tickets); the Sapphire Pass – $140 (20 tickets) and the Diamond Pass (only for Tower Theater and Miami Film Society members) – $70 (10 purchased tickets + 1 complimentary ticket). Passes are completely flexible. They can be used by the same person or others in your party, all at once or for different performances.
Single tickets for each show are $15 for adults; $13.50 for seniors, students and MDC staff; and $11 for Tower and Miami Film Society Members and MDC students.
