MDC’s Teatro Prometeo Once Again Offers Prometeítos Theater Summer Camp in Spanish

Miami, May 5, 2016 – The renowned Teatro Prometeo at Miami Dade College (MDC) will once again offer the beloved Los Prometeítos summer camp, a diverse Spanish-language program that introduces little ones ages 6 – 12 to acting, singing, dancing, arts crafting, and creative writing. The sessions will take place June 13 – July 1 at MDC’s Koubek Center, located at 2705 S.W. 3rd St., Miami.

Campers will have the opportunity to explore the world of acting and performing arts by participating in fun activities that develop creative possibilities in a dynamic and intensive setting. In the past, Prometeítos have participated in numerous plays, the International Hispanic Theatre Festival, and the Miami Book Fair.

2016 Prometeitos Summer Camp:

Theater, Dance, Singing and Creative Writing for Children

Week 1: June 13 – 17, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Week 2: June 20 – 24, 8:30 a.m.  – 3:30 p.m.

Week 3: June 25 – July 1, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Cost is $250 per week, or $700 for all three weeks, with lunch included.
