MDC’s North Campus to Host All Americans Vote Early Concert with Grammy Nominated Artist DJ Khaled

Miami, Oct. 31, 2018- Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus will be the site of the All Americans Vote Early Vote Concert on Saturday, Nov. 3, beginning at noon, featuring Grammy nominated artist DJ Khaled, DJ Dr. Doom, MDC alumna Yoli Mayor and Silent Addy performing during the outdoor rally to encourage young voters to get to the polls early to cast their votes.

MDC’s North and Kendall Campuses continue to be open to students, employees and the community for convenient early voting through Sunday, Nov. 4. MDC early voting sites are open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Students across the college are also encouraging fellow students and the community to Vote Yes on Amendment 7, to add our national model Florida College System to the State Constitution alongside the State University and K-12 Systems.  Amendment 7 also provides college tuition to the survivors of first responders and military members killed on duty.

Known as the First Responder and Higher Ed Amendment, Amendment 7 would finally recognize, at a statewide level, the invaluable role of MDC and the other 27 institutions comprising the FCS as the backbone of Florida’s workforce training and economy.
