MDC’s North Campus to Host 3rd District Court of Appeal Oral Argument Proceedings

Miami, Oct. 16, 2019Miami Dade College’s (MDC) School of Justice, Public Safety and Law Studies will host the 3rd District Court of Appeal Oral Argument Proceedings on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at 9:30 a.m.

Three judges from the 3rd District Court of Appeal will hear 10-minute oral arguments in the courtroom at the School of Justice law enforcement training site. The Third District Court of Appeal hearings will be live streamed from the School of Justice training site courtroom and students may attend the proceedings in person. Security for the hearings will be provided by the Marshal of the Court, the first woman Marshal for the 3rd District Court of Appeal, and a graduate of the Basic Law Enforcement Training Program at the School of Justice.

MDC’s renowned School of Justice has been training and educating public safety professionals for nearly 42 years, domestically and internationally. More than 80 percent of all public safety professionals in Miami-Dade County have been trained at the School of Justice.
