Miami, FL – Sept. 5, 2017 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus invites the community to a celebration of the arts and the opening of its new Outdoor Studio at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13. The North Campus’ visual and performing arts students and faculty will present performances and exhibits. This event is free and open to the public with RSVP.
The celebration will take place in the brand new Outdoor Studio, a signature, al fresco arts space where learning and performance come to life in a very unique way. The Studio will serve as an additional venue for the Arts & Philosophy program, featuring a recessed theater and raised stage platform to serve as the ultimate space for student artists to showcase their talents, be it music, visual arts, poetry, dance, theater and so much more.
