MDC’s North Campus and Microsoft Team Up for EduDays Technology Conference for South Florida

Miami, Feb. 21, 2017 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus has partnered with Microsoft to host its EduDays Technology Conference for South Florida on Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 22-23. EduDays is an annual event presented by the South Florida Microsoft account team for customers serving K-12 and higher education. The conference is also open for MDC students currently pursuing a career in information technology.

“This conference offers a remarkable lineup of workshops, activities and presenters guaranteed to enhance the training of South Florida’s IT professionals while also exposing our students to the latest industry trends and practices as they aspire to enter careers in the IT field,” said North Campus President Dr. Malou C. Harrison.

EduDays promises to be an exciting training and informational conference that will offer two distinct learning tracks: IT Professional and Instructional Technologist. Various topics will include client-to cloud in education scenarios such as cybersecurity, productivity and datacenter modernization and improving learning outcomes with technology. Presentations and workshops will be facilitated by several top-notch Microsoft speakers and partners. The conference will also feature customer showcases and a technology device bar for all attendees to experience Microsoft’s latest technology tools first-hand.
