MDC’s North and InterAmerican Campuses and Consulate General of Israel to Host Women Israeli Art Exhibit

MIAMI, Aug. 31, 2017- Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North and InterAmerican Campuses, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Israel in Miami, will host Wonder Woman a unique and extraordinary art exhibit that highlights and recognizes the struggles yet great resilience of women.

Wonder Woman features works by 21 Israeli male and female artists.  The works of these talented artists present an introspection of their definition of a heroine.  The variety of art works is thought-provoking, and provides a unique opportunity for viewers to gain insight on the strife of womanhood through visual stories depicted by the artists.

The exhibit opening program at the North Campus will take place at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 6, and at InterAmerican Campus will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 7.  The exhibition is free and open to the public, and will run for two months at each venue.
