Miami, May 19, 2020 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) new Business Innovation and Technology (BIT) Center has partnered with Facebook to offer two webinars aimed at helping businesses increase customers through social media platforms WhatsApp and Instagram. Both webinars are free and open to the public.
Use WhatsApp to Grow Your Business webinar will take place on Thursday, May 21, from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The webinar will be led by Mariano Garrasino, Senior Executive Latam Region at Facebook for WhatsApp, and will explore what’s driving the rapid rise of business messaging, what people expect when messaging businesses, how the right messaging is connected to purchases, and what it all means for marketers. Participants will gain an overview of WhatsApp and why it’s vital for businesses; ways to connect with customers, driving traffic to WhatsApp and how to incorporate ads as part of a marketing funnel. Tell Your Business Story Using Instagram will be held on Thursday, May 28, from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. With an Instagram business account, businesses can promote their products and services to a global audience of people most interested in what they do. This webinar will be presented by Felipe Vasquez, Business Education Partner for Blueprint, who will discuss how to build a business on Instagram, discover and communicate with customers, and showcase the unique personality of a business.
