Miami, Oct. 18, 2018 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Idea Center will present Claudio Muruzabal, President for SAP Latin America & Caribbean, as part its popular Mike Fernandez Global Business Leadership Series. The event will take place at 9:45 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31, at MDC’s Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami.
Muruzabal has more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry. He leads SAP Latin America in helping businesses across the region thrive through digital innovation. Prior to joining SAP in 2015, Muruzabal was CEO of SAP Partner NEORIS and, previously, vice president of Teradata/NCR in Latin America. A strong advocate of education and entrepreneurship as a means to advance social well-being and economic growth, he serves as Americas co-chair of nonprofit Junior Achievement and is a board member of the Council of the Americas. Muruzabal was named one of Latin Trade magazine’s 100 Most Powerful Business People and received the HITEC 50 Award.
The Mike Fernandez Global Business Leadership Series provides students with first-hand knowledge of best business practices and leadership by inviting top, renowned executives to share their experiences and discuss new trends in their respective industries.
