Miami, Jan. 11, 2019 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Idea Center will host a new edition of the popular Mike Fernandez Global Business Leadership Series with Cisco’s President for Latin America and Senior Vice President for the Americas, Jordi Botifoll, Thursday, Jan. 31, at 9:45 a.m., at MDC’s Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami.
Jordi Botifoll oversees Cisco’s Latin American Theater, which comprises 45 countries and territories. For more than 25 years, Botifoll, a visionary in business strategy, technology architectures and country digitization, has driven growth and innovation in the regions he has served. For more than 18 years at Cisco, he has led multiple international projects across market segments. Prior to joining Cisco, he served as General Manager for the business market segment at Retevision, the second-largest Spanish service provider, and held leadership positions at Lotus Development Software, IBM and NCR. Botifoll is the recipient of prestigious industry accolades such as the HITEC 50 – 50, awarded to the most influential executives in the IT industry.
The Mike Fernandez Global Business Leadership Series provides students with first-hand knowledge of best business practices and leadership by inviting top, renowned executives to share their experiences and discuss new trends in their respective industries.
