MDC’s Miami Culinary Institute Welcomes New Class of Future Chefs

Miami, Jan. 26, 2022 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) acclaimed Miami Culinary Institute (MCI) will officially induct a new class of aspiring chefs, who will receive their chef’s coats at a special ceremony at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 16, at MDC’s Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami.

MCI’s Chef’s Coat Ceremony marks the beginning of the students’ journey toward achieving an Associate in Science (A.S.) in culinary arts management and becoming a part of Miami’s dynamic gastronomic scene.

Building on MDC’s rich history as one of the largest and most diverse institutions of higher education in the country, the Miami Culinary Institute provides students a recipe for culinary excellence in the 21st century.
