Miami, Sept. 11, 2018 – The School of Global Business at Miami Dade College (MDC) will host the Ernst & Young (EY) Accounting & Business Summit, Monday, Oct 1, at 9 a.m., for high school juniors and seniors with the aim of introducing them to business and accounting principles before they begin college. The event is free and open to the media.
Approximately 120 students will be attending from G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School, Miami Southridge Senior High School, South Dade Senior High School and Colonial Christian School. Representatives from EY’s New York and Miami offices will discuss work ethic, career readiness and the accounting services profession.
MDC’s School of Global Business offers associate and baccalaureate programs in areas such as marketing, human resources, trade and transportation, finance, and accounting.
