MDC’s Freedom Tower Goes Red for Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month Sept. 15

Miami, Sep. 13, 2022 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) National Historic Landmark Freedom Tower will be illuminated red at sunset on Thursday, Sept. 15 for Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month.

On Sept. 15, the Brain Aneurysm Foundation (BAF) invites everyone to #Give2Save on its 1st Annual Global Day of Engagement. As the globally recognized leader of brain aneurysm awareness, support, education, advocacy, and research funding for nearly 30 years, the foundation aspires towards a life without death or disabilities caused by brain aneurysm ruptures.

BAF provides information about and raises awareness of the symptoms and risk factors of brain aneurysms to prevent ruptures and subsequent death and disability; works with medical communities to provide support networks for patients and families; and advances research to improve patients’ outcomes and save lives.
