Miami, June 22, 2022 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) National Historic Landmark Freedom Tower will be illuminated red and white at sunset on Friday, July 1, in celebration of Canada Day.
Canada Day is a national holiday marking the anniversary of Confederation in 1867, when the British North America Act was established. The act created the country of Canada with its initial four provinces of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
