Miami, Dec. 12, 2017- Miami Dade College (MDC) will present Connecting the World and Shaping the Future of Commerce, the next installment of the popular Mike Fernandez Global Business Leadership Series with Eduardo Coello, Regional President of Visa Inc., Latin America and the Caribbean, at 9:45 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 18, at the Idea Center.
The Mike Fernandez Global Business Leadership Series aims to provide students with first-hand knowledge of best business practices and leadership by inviting top, renowned executives to share their experiences and discuss new trends in their respective industries.
Eduardo Coello is responsible for all of Visa’s operations in the region, including regional business development and client relationship management with financial institutions, merchants, and partners. Prior to serving in his current position, Coello was Senior Vice President for Visa Inc., Latin America and Caribbean Region. In this role, he led the business development efforts and relationships with clients in 42 countries. Previously, Coello was Country Manager of Visa Mexico, responsible for managing operations and partnerships with financial institutions in that country. He has more than 25 years of experience in the business and financial sector. Prior to joining Visa, he worked at Bancomer and Procter & Gamble.
