MDC North Campus to Host Sealing and Expungement Program July 21

Miami, July 14, 2016 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) School of Justice at the North Campus, in collaboration with U.S. Congresswoman Federica Wilson, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Barbara Jordan, State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle and Public Defender Carlos J. Martinez, will host the Sealing and Expungement Program at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, at the North Campus’ new Conference Center. This event is free and open to the public.

A second chance in life is an opportunity not to be missed. The program is designed to assist individuals who were charged with a crime in Miami-Dade County, but not convicted, to have their records expunged or sealed. Those individuals will then have better opportunities to obtain employment.
