Miami, Sept. 4, 2018 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus will once again host a free food distribution to assist needy students and their families throughout Miami-Dade County, starting at 10 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 15. The event is co-presented by State Representative Cynthia Stafford and Farm Share.
Farm Share is a non-profit organization that distributes food to individuals and families facing hardships, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, churches, and other organizations feeding the needy in Florida – free of charge. The organization’s mission is to alleviate hunger and malnutrition by recovering and distributing fresh and nutritious food to those who need it most.
Food will be available on a first come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
