MDC Learning Resources Associate Director Ivan Toledo Wins Logo Design Contest

Miami, March 22, 2016 Ivan Toledo, Associate Director of Learning Resources at Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Medical Campus, has won the Florida Health Sciences Library Association (FHSLA) Annual logo design contest.

Toledo, a certified medical librarian by the Academy of Health Information Professionals, will attend the conference titled Digging Deeper into Health Care Research on April 7-8 at the University of South Florida in Tampa.  Toledo is excited to represent MDC and appreciates the opportunity to expand his professional goals of keeping abreast with health care research and resources to support students and faculty.

“I’m so honored that my logo was chosen by the FHSLA, I’m looking forward to attending the meeting and learning about new concepts and trends to share with our college community,” said Ivan Toledo.

Each year, the FHSLA holds a logo design contest.  The design is used as a marketing tool for the annual conference and will appear on its website, posters, banners, and flyers.
