MDC InterAmerican Campus Celebrates 25th Anniversary of Exact Sciences Conference

Miami, March 21, 2018 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) InterAmerican Campus celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Exact Sciences Conference from Monday, March 26 through Wednesday, April 11 with the purpose of enhancing awareness of career opportunities in the exact and natural sciences.   The event is free and open to the public.

The theme of this year’s conference is “A Focus on College to Careers.”  Highlights will include interactive conversations and presentations focused on academic pathways and careers in computer science, engineering, statistics, health sciences, information technology, environmental sciences and meteorology.

Students and other participants will be provided with career development narratives, job opportunities, college transfer possibilities, salary data, and information regarding the future growth potential of various career choices.  In addition, participants will receive valuable information detailing the educational and scholarship opportunities offered at MDC that propel students toward achieving their career goals.
