Miami, March 1, 2021 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Hialeah Campus has partnered with IMC Health and Farm Share to host a drive-thru giveaway event on Saturday, March 6, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
IMC Health plans to distribute 1,000 care packages filled with toiletries. Farm Share will distribute food supplies. Food and care items will be available on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last. To participate, drivers can enter through the 17th court entrance, where they will be directed by Public Safety. Everyone must wear a mask and remain in their vehicle at all times.
MDC continues to serve as a vital resource for students and the community impacted by the pandemic with free food and mask distribution events at various campuses. There are also free COVID-19 testing sites located at the Kendall and North Campuses, and a county vaccine site has also been activated at the North Campus.
