MDC Galleries of Art + Design (GOA+D)

MDC Galleries of Art + Design (GOA+D) is a network of venues and initiatives at the College’s eight campuses throughout South Florida, including the expansive Miami International Sculpture Park at North Campus. Miami Dade College utilizes its gallery spaces, its art in public places, its staff and visual resources (exhibition and permanent collections) as well as the expertise and artistic talents of faculty and students at MDC, to provide year-long activities that offer a unique learning experience through direct contact with works of art, artists, designers and creative professionals. MDC GAD creates programs based on the needs of each campus and faculty to better suit those of the students at each campus. The focus in the galleries is on getting each artist to engage with the students, faculty and public by doing walk-throughs, workshops, lecture programs and other audience-oriented events.
