Miami, Dec. 17, 2018 – Enjoy a champagne toast and a choice of two scrumptious six-course meal menus this New Year Eve’s at Tuyo, the crown-jewel restaurant at Miami Dade College (MDC), located on the top floor of the acclaimed Miami Culinary Institute.
The roof-top restaurant offers one of South Florida’s most elegant dining experiences, first-class service, and an unparalleled panoramic view of the downtown skyline and Biscayne Bay. The selections prepared by our executive chef include Contemporary American cuisine featuring classic flavor combinations highlighted by an emphasis on fresh, quality ingredients.
Choose between two menus of six-course meals with an array of delectable entrees, with the first menu including: Terrine of Wild Boar and Pistachio, Creamy Butternut Squash and Kabocha Soup, Pan-Roasted Breast of Squab, Filet of Atlantic Halibut, and Duo of Painted Hills Beef with a Chocolate Surprise dessert. The second menu includes tasty entrees of: Terrine of Roasted Red and Golden Beets, Creamy Butternut Squash and Kabocha Soup, Florida White Corn Crespelle, Carnaroli – Champagne Risotto, and Fricassée of Wild Mushrooms with Pavlova for dessert.
During the first seating between 5:30 – 7 p.m., patrons can enjoy six courses for $125. During the second seating from 9 – 11 p.m., diners can also ring in the New Year at midnight for $175 in a festive environment with a panoramic view of Miami, a champagne toast and party favors. Wine pairing is available for an additional $55. Tax and gratuity are not included.
Reflecting Tuyo’s location in the heart of an international metropolis, diners also will find some Classical, Latin and other Asian-inspired references on the menu.
