Despite multiple injuries, the Sharks men’s basketball team fought hard to defeat Palm Beach State and qualify for the Florida College Systems Activities Association (FCSAA) State Tournament, recently held in Ocala. The Sharks won the game 76-51 with sophomore Tre Boutilier leading the team with a double-double 23 points and 12 rebounds. Sophomore guard Darius Perkins with 22 points, six rebounds and four steals. The team was named Southern Conference Runner-Up.
The Sharks not only finished the regular season with an overall record of 21-9 but they also maintained their NJCAA team national rankings. They are ranked 6th in the nation in three-pointers made.
