Miami, Nov. 3, 2020 – Throughout its history, Miami Dade College (MDC) has attracted renowned global leaders as commencement speakers, including several U.S. Presidents, heads of state, members of cabinet and other luminaries. This year, the College will host five Commencement Ceremonies on Saturday, Dec. 12, featuring distinguished speakers who will share their wisdom and experiences with the Class of 2020. Working media is welcome.
To ensure the safety of students, faculty and staff, MDC ceremonies will be held outdoors at the North and Kendall Campuses with limited capacity and social distancing. Only students who graduated during the 2019-20 academic year, College Trustees, and select faculty and administrators will be able to attend.
