Save the Date! Miami Dade College to Host 2020 Commencement Ceremonies Dec. 12

Miami, Oct. 7, 2020 – Graduates can finally celebrate the culmination of their hard work and dedication at Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Commencement Ceremonies, which will take place outdoors on Saturday, Dec. 12. MDC will host five commencement ceremonies at the North and Kendall Campuses.

To ensure the safety of students, faculty and staff, the ceremonies will be held outdoors, with limited capacity, and social distancing. Only students who graduated during the 2019-2020 academic year, College Trustees, and select faculty and administrators will be able to attend.  Families and friends of graduates will watch the ceremonies via livestream from any location. In addition, there will be temperature checks upon entering the campus, mandatory face masks at all times, and hand sanitizers available throughout.

Information on speakers, honorees, statistics on the graduating class, and additional instructions and details will be forthcoming. Throughout the years, MDC graduations have attracted renowned global leaders as commencement speakers including several U.S. Presidents, heads of state, members of cabinet and other luminaries.
