Miami, FL, Sept. 15, 2020 — Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Wolfson Campus, in partnership with Florida International University’s (FIU) Center for International Business and Research (CIBER) and MDC’s The Idea Center, will present the annual International Business Education Conference, a virtual and free event open to students and the general public on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 10 – 11:15 a.m.
During the conference, there will be a panel discussion about the economic and social impact of the relationship among South Korea, Japan and Latin America. Dr. Jaap Donath, Senior Vice President, Research and Strategic Planning for Miami-Dade Beacon Council will be the keynote speaker and panelists will include Margaret Myers, Director of the Asia and Latin America Program at the Inter-American Dialogue in Washington, D.C.; Dr. Juan Felipe López Aymes from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and Dr. Won-Ho Kim, professor at the School of International and Area Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in South Korea.

This conference is possible with the support of the Miami-Dade Beacon Council, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in South Korea, Inter-American Dialogue, the Asian-American Advisory Board of Miami-Dade County and the collaboration of MDC’s Office of International Education and World Languages Department.
