In collaboration with MDC’s Wolfson Campus Media Services, MDC-TV’s award-winning team consisted of producer/writer Tony Leal, editor/graphics Maikel García, audio engineer Amed Torrecilla, with voice over by María García. The team won for their Hispanic Heritage Promo, which celebrated the leadership and accomplishments of some of the most influential Hispanics in the United States, such as Jose Mariano Hernandez, David Farragut, Desi Arnaz, and more.

MDC-TV’s previous awards include four Suncoast Emmy Awards in the live events category, a Gold Telly Award for MDC-TV Newsflash in the news category and an Emmy nomination for a documentary film.

The Telly Awards showcase the best work created within television and across video for all screens. Winners are selected from more than 12,000 entries and they represent some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world.

The Communicator Awards is the leading international competition recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications. The International Davey Awards honor the achievements of the “Creative Davids” who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than stratospheric budgets. The Davey is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from top media, advertising, and marketing firms.
