MDC North Campus, 10 a.m. until supplies run out
Miami, May 7, 2020 – In response to the impact of COVID-19, Miami Dade College (MDC) continues its efforts to support the community with a free drive-thru food distribution event at the North Campus on Saturday, May 16 starting at 10 a.m. until supplies run out. This event is hosted in collaboration with Farm Share, Little River Farms Homeowners Association, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Jean Monestime and School Board Member Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall. Free and open to the public.
Drivers must arrive from N.W. 32nd Avenue and enter the Campus at N.W. 110th Street/Stadium Drive and proceed on the road. Access from every other entrance will be denied. No walk-ups will be allowed. Click here to view the campus map.
Farm Share is a non-profit organization that distributes food to individuals and families facing hardships, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, churches, and other organizations feeding the needy in Florida – free of charge. The organization’s mission is to alleviate hunger and malnutrition by recovering and distributing fresh and nutritious food to those who need it most.
