Miami, Sept. 19, 2019 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus, in partnership with the Consulate General of Argentina in Miami, will host a three-day film festival, Argentinean Week @ North, Sept. 25-27. The opening ceremony will take place, Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m., in Bldg. 2000 Breezeway, North Entrance. This event is free and open to the public.
As part of the Argentinean Week @ North, five Argentinean film screenings (Mi Obra Maestra, El Amor Menos Pensado, Gilda, Con Reservas Relatos Salvajes, and Recreo) will be featured. The Consul General of Argentina in Miami, Leandro Fernandez Suarez and Karina Castellano, Director of Cine.ar Platform from the National Institute of Cinema and Virtual Arts (INCAA), will be in attendance. The film festival will take attendees through a visual depiction of the Argentinean people, culture, and history.
