Miami Dade College to Offer Major Crimes Program in Trinidad

Miami, May 25, 2018Miami Dade College (MDC) School of Justice, Public Safety and Law Studies will offer a course in Major Crimes in Trinidad from Tuesday, June 26 through Friday, June 29.  The Major Crimes program was developed for security and law enforcement personnel tasked with responding and investigating major crimes such as homicides.

The program will provide the participants with a comprehensive and detailed foundation of knowledge required to collect and record evidence and establish crime scenes, which are important aspects of work for most law enforcement officers.

The renowned School of Justice at the North Campus has been training and educating public safety professionals for the past 41 years, domestically and internationally. More than 80 percent of all public safety professionals in Miami-Dade County have received training at the School of Justice.

The school offers associates degrees in criminal justice, a bachelor in applied science degree in public safety management with ten specialized tracks, college credit certificates in homeland security and crime scene technology, basic law enforcement, corrections and firefighter certifications, private security certifications and specialized executive leadership training and assessment services.
