Miami, Nov. 28, 2016 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) InterAmerican Campus will host a World AIDS Day community event from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2. Free and open to the public.
MDC students, faculty and staff, and volunteers, will participate to increase awareness about HIV, AIDS and substance abuse through various activities. Attendees will learn about prevention, information and treatment.
This event is presented in collaboration with the Medical Campus and community agencies with funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), a branch of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
