Holiday Magic Returns to Miami Dade College on Dec. 6 Local Community is Invited

Miami, Nov. 21, 2025 – Miami Dade College (MDC) will once again welcome families for its beloved Children’s Holiday at North celebration, taking place Saturday, Dec. 6, at MDC’s North Campus. The community-favorite event returns with new surprises, expanded activities, and a festive atmosphere designed to delight guests of all ages. The celebration begins at 10 a.m. with Santa’s much-anticipated arrival from the North Pole. Admission is free and open to the public.

This year’s event promises an extra spark of holiday magic as North Campus is transformed into a vibrant winter wonderland. Festivities will kick off with a high-energy parade featuring Santa’s helpers, costumed characters, and exhilarating marching bands. Young visitors can pose for photos with Santa, enjoy storytime with Mrs. Claus, and experience lively performances from dancers, musicians, and community groups.

Families will find an array of interactive and educational experiences, including the Youth in Agriculture Pavilion with a petting zoo, a calming Sensory Tent, the STEM Interactive LEGO Tent, and the Holidays-Around-the-World Tent celebrating global traditions. Children can get creative at Santa’s Pavilion with hands-on arts and crafts, explore wellness activities at the Health Pavilion, and meet princesses and favorite characters for memorable photo moments.
